Amazing what happens in this haven amidst so much steel and concrete and noise. It's a great documentary for anyone who is even mildy a "birder",and it makes the case for yet another reason to visit New York City. I especially enjoyed the candid responses to "why birds?" as well as the admission that "yes, we DO look like morons, but so what?"

Try to get your hands on this one.

Yup, that would be me. Birding is one of the very few things that can get me out of bed when I really don't have to.

Someone spotted a Kirtland's Warbler at Hamlin Beach today.

Federally endangered due to habitat (pine forest) destruction.

I know these are baby owls. But I don't know what kind of owls they are? Any help would be great !
