I'll be posting some outtakes from this market that sits on a small island in Vancouver. We had to take a water taxi to get there. I ate the smoked salmon candy and it was delicious.

Do you get those ceramic pots when you buy the pies?
It bothers me that candy maker doesn't use molds. I wouldn't buy for feat the erratic lolipop shapes would cut my tongue (because i made them this way and they did).

Yeah. If you eat it there. Well...not to keep though.

We took the dish back to the counter when done, but did wonder how many they lose to theft.....

And I'm not sure how it works if you order one to go. I think I saw them in disposable containers in a cooler.

It was killer good.

The dishes are pretty nice. I originally thought they might be antique....but have since seen new ones with heads like that available for sale.
