Whitaker Park is located in Lewis County in the town of Martinsburg. The sign stated closed but the gate was open, the water falls is located near the end of the park in the old section. You can park at one of the picnic areas just before the end loop. There is a trail to the creek, avoid the old viewing platform it’s not safe. To access the falls you have to walk the creek the stones are very slippery so be sure of each footing before proceeding. I couldn’t get to the second falls due to the wet slimy rocks. At the end of the park is a trail that might get you to the bottom but it’s on posted land thus I didn’t attempt it. In lower water levels you could reach the bottom falls via of the creek. Whetstone Gulf is less than 5 miles from Whitaker it also has a waterfall but the bridge is removed thus wading is necessary.
