Bog River Falls

We stopped at this place right after the Wild Center in Tupper Lake. It's not so much a falls as it is the stream sliding steeply over exposed bedrock. What's interesting is that it spills directly into Tupper Lake itself. I've never seen such fast moving water flowing directly into another body of still water before.

Matt, would you want these ADK falls profiles here or in the NY Waterfall Discussion area? It seems like it's getting kind of full over there. Feel free to move this there if you want.

the outlet must be as "active" I suspect.

It looks like the Outlet is the Raquette River at the other end of the lake, which is a lot wider and has more volume at that point. Looking at a topo you can give yourself a headache trying to figure out all the watersheds up there.
