Ah yes, spider soup. This guy was huge, got that shiver up the back. While taking pics I came to realize I was trapped in a field of a ton of serious webs that i kept backing into. Got out of there fast.

that's a creepy one.

This is a fishing spider. It was about 2.5" in diameter.

those are those tiny ones, right? What are you shooting with?

Im using an old 35-80mm kit lens that came with a Canon film camera. I took a uv filter 52mm and broke out the glass and glued it to a old body cover that I cut the center out. I attach the camera using the body cover. Its not that tight so I have to be careful. I set the aperature by putting the lens on correctly and using Dof preview to close down the aperature to F8 and remove the lens while holding down the dof preview button. Then put the lens on and shoot. The focus ring still works but I tend to just move the camera back and forth to achieve focus. The zoom works in reverse 80mm gives more width and 35mm is real tight. I tend to shoot in the middle. Exposure is trial and error. And I take a lot of shots.
