Post your instect shots here and hopefully we can help each other identify them.
This one (I'm guessing) is a
Japanese Beetle, an invasive species.
Centepede of some sort.

All should know that this beetle is to scale, hold you hand up to the screen and it was really that big!

Take a hike along Canadice Lake and you'll find hundreds of these 6 inch long Milipedes.

Eastern Tent Caterpillar... millions of these on the Canadice Lake Trail. They pose a threat to both the forest and the water quality... as they defoliate trees and can carry bacterial parasites.

Mat... I was hoping to sometime take a hike along the west shore of Canadice Lake. Probably in the fall. Is there a defined trail along there or is there a lot of bushwhacking involved?

It's a well-defined trail, access road really... about 10 feet accross, covered in gravel.
