We are heading to Lake Placid soon and I was wondering if the leaves have started to change? Also how is the water flow in The region?

I'll be up there next weekend, and would like to know as well. A look at some traffic cameras across the lake in Vermont like this one

I'll be staying near Schroon Lake, visiting relatives. Not sure yet what we will be doing, most likely will decide when everyone gets there.

Sounds fun. We're not sure what we're doing either. Just going for four days. With a one year old and a four year old we probably won't do anything too strenuous. We are going to do the rail bike thing. Probably split rock and a few other falls.

It probably is pretty good this week. We were there Monday - Friday and by Friday it was over 50% changed, though as you got closer to 87 it was hardly changed.

Yeah we drove around quite a bit over the weekend and though there is some color, it's very spotty, next week will probably be better.

Wilmington area seemed the best. Near high gorge was showing the most color.
