Adirondack Light and Power

Former generating plant on the Mohawk River. It no longer makes power, but functions as a concrete plant. While not quite in 'ruins', on the opposite side of the plant the coal unloading trestle, the remains of the electrical switchyard, and the condition of the building itself all contribute to a run-down, nearly abandoned appearance.

That's a cool looking building... those old brick powerplants look creepy as they decay. I hope they don't demolish this one and let nature reclaim it.. would make for some great pics.
