bear kill falls sounds like a good name.
Hi Champy1013,
Thanks for posting the info on Bear Kill Falls. Talking with the owner and doing some research is the best way to go.
The falls is not listed in my waterfall survey and I would like to add it. Do you have a height estimate for it?
From geology maps it looks like the bedrock is the Syracyse Formation. It is a mixture if dolostone, shale, gypsum and salt layers.
Send me your name and I'll add it to my contributors page.

This one is on private property. 55 foot Falls, can be viewed from roadside. Spring fed, so it flows most of the time.
Location Valley dr, Jordan, NY, As you can see it's water flow is unique. This picture was taken last Sunday. Camera Coolpix P510, 1/20s, F5.6, ISO 100, -1.00 EV.

On May 8 2013, I posted this waterfalls. The owner now is "Bill King" and he told me he calls it Sugar Bush Falls. Because in the cabin to the left of falls, he makes maple syrup there and sells it. Champy nice pictures of this place.
