April 2013 Photo Challenge: Geometric

I had a plan to go to downtown Albany to photograph a certain geometric sculpture for this challenge but when I got there the sculpture was gone! I hope it is just put away for the winter months. Anyway I had to come up with a new idea for the challenge. So I headed to the Empire State Plaza knowing there are sculptures and windows, lot of windows there. Here is what I got.

The Octagonal Schoolhouse - Essex NY

Oh! Octagonal structures are so interesting! I've been fascinated by them since I was a kid.

There is an elderly lady who is a customer where I work. She visits frequently and every single time - she tells me that she has an octagonal outhouse on her property - and she pulls out the same wrinkled, decaying photo. I admire it like it's all new to me.

It's great to see some increased activity with entries! Keep them coming. Just two more days . . .
