Dying to see my new fave band Twenty One Pilots, I reached out to 94.1 the Zone to see if not only could I see them...but photograph them as well. After begging numerous times, I finally got the ok. I had my usual pass to get in the pit and take photos during the first 3 songs. What I didn't know and judging from the other photogs there, we had full access to the concert. I did not learn this until after my memory cards were full, but I did get to meet some of the bands down in the basement of the Auditorium. What a cool experience.

The Auditorium is most likely suited for a full frame camera. 90% or more of my photos were rendered useless with noise issues. The lighting is not something that I have experienced at the outdoor venues that I have been shooting.

The first act was 1916, who are a local Irish band...I got there just as they were playing their last song.

Next up was Twenty One Pilots (Unfortunately either I didn't have my camera settings dialed in or their lighting was lacking. I took the most pictures of them, but ended up saving the least.)

Nice colors. They don't seem to hungover to me.

Great shots Kyle... that must have been fun for you too. Love the action and emotion...you can almost hear the music in them. :)

Thanks everyone, looking forward to another summer at CMAC, assuming they'll have me.
