Odd looking dam-falls

Last week I found this dam falls, and the water only drop 6" to 12". BUT what was more interesting to me was the iron work on the dam. Sunday I contacted a neighbor near dam. They told me it was a grain or cider mill a long time ago. I'm now checking with the local town board for more information on it. The couple I talked to said they heard that the town board may still have some old photos of it too. I'm going to try and get copies. Updates when I get the history on it!
