Great pics guys. I look out the window and think to myself how enchantingly beautiful all those snow covered trees are but I have the toughest time getting photos that convey that majesty. It is pretty easy for me to capture the starkness of the season but not so much the beauty of the snow.

Nice coloring and mood on those, Joel. Almost makes me want to leave my apartment again this winter. (almost)

Thanks Matt, a little more processing than I like but I felt they needed something. Two of them are HDR images, hmmm I wonder which ones? I always feel like there are so many great captures to be had this time of year but I'd rather just hibernate until April/May.

Great shots. Sometimes when there is nothing but snow and trees in the shot there is a lack of contrast and the flowing water solves that problem. The composition is great!

Great shots Joel... love the road pictures...and always ones with tiny people in a big world. ;)
The second one with the ice crystals on the tips of leaves is my favourite though.

Charles...that first one at Linear Park is lovely...can almost hear that water flowing over that rocky ledge in the snowy stream. Very nice.

And Matt...that first shot at Bear Swamp...the woman in red among the snow covered trees...is quite eye catching too.

I admire all of you who got out into the environment after the storm...it was worth it! :)

Great pics all
