The Culinary Institute opened this weekend.

Canandaigua's one is very popular and a nice draw for day trips.

Will this help bring people to the falls-front?

Yes, the one in Canandaigua is a new favorite. The second floor outdoor deck over looks the lake. The food is unique and changes. All good.

I doubt they will get the view at the Falls one. They are located on Old Falls Street, which is between the Casino (boy, that really worked out for the city) and the park.

Here's their new website.

And this is what they offer as far as retail
The Niagara Falls Culinary Institute is located on Old Falls Street in the heart of downtown and just steps from the wonder of Niagara Falls.

Visit with us to experience foods prepared for you with pride by the students of NFCI.

Savor: offering fine dining and an open hearth oven in an intimate setting

La Patisserie: offering fresh baked goods and coffee drinks

Old Falls Street Deli: featuring fresh deli sandwiches for a casual lunch or dinner

The Wine Boutique: featuring wines from the Niagara Wine Trail and around New York State

In addition to our restaurants, the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute also offers public tours given by current NFCI students and a Barnes and Noble bookstore featuring epicurean delights, cookbooks, souvenirs, and assorted kitchen utensils. And no trip to NFCI would complete without a visit to the Wine Boutique, featuring wines from the Niagara Wine Trail.

Parking: Visitors can conveniently park in the Rainbow Ramp, on the north end of NFCI.
