we saw a bunch up in Wellsley Island this weekend camping. Also an abundance of frogs. Nice to see them around as they are pretty scattered compared to garter snakes. Much darker and with very distinct lines.

Funny you would mention it... I saw one in Grimes Glen on Friday. Small one.. about a foot long. Very active, even in the cold rain.
