my attempt of the Venus transit in June in Capitol Reef NP.
Due to a wildfire the sun appeared so red and some of the smoke clouds are visible in the pictures.
But the smoke also helped and I used only one filter.
All shots are handheld due to 60+mph wind gusts that day

I think the wildfire red added to the images.
Also like the partial lunar eclipse...awesome to see that shadow creep over the moon.
