I believe this was my second visit to the high peaks since I completed my 46er. I forgot how wonderful they are, Cascaded and Porter have some of the best views of the high peaks and beyond with one of the shortest hike. This was my second climb for both of these and both times were in the winter; at least it wasn’t minus 28 deg. this time. It was a great day to hike and the views were typical high peak views, hazy in one direction and somewhat blue in another. The wind was unbelievable as you can hear in the movie.

Great photos Jim! I'm jealous, didn't make it up there this winter. Actually had intentions to go this coming weekend. However the current weather pattern has forced us to back out and choose a different destination.

Thanks Kyle,
I was up their on the 11th, I would say there was 4 to 6 feet of snow on the peaks.
