10:30 pm? Wha?
That doesn't make any sense... for TV or for live viewing.

It'll probably be a 2 hour TV "leadup" to the event and then have his walk be at the end of the show.

ABC pulled everything about this from their main website.
It's now nothing but "local programming"

The audio made it all worth watching.
I don't think I'll ever again hear someone so earnestly praise Jesus and refer to themselves as a "jack off" in the same sentence. Wow. :rotfl: :heehee:

Yeah, a lot of praying... and he slipped up that one time, but totally understandable considering the situation. The camera angles and audio quality were exceptional. They really did a great job covering this.
Would have loved to see this happen during the day though.

Wikipedia:
Nik Wallenda was born in Sarasota, Florida on January 24, 1979 to Terry Troffer and Delilah Wallenda. He began performing with his family at the age of two (dressed as a clown) and began walking the wire at age four, learning primarily from his father.[1] As a child, his parents would throw objects at him as he practiced, and even shot him with a BB gun, to train him how to deal with distractions.[2] At age six, he first visited Niagara Falls and immediately decided that he wanted to one day tightrope walk across it.[5]

Wallenda had his first professional wire performance at age 13. In 1998, at age 19, he participated in the re-creation of Karl Wallenda's seven-person pyramid on the highwire in Detroit, Michigan, alongside his father and his mother, and he decided to make a career of it.[6]

Sadly, getting shot at is probably a real hazard with public performances in the usa.
I recall David Blaine interviewed on Howard Stern and we was talking about his urban endurance stunts and how people would throw things at him, shoot darts and pool balls, full cans and bottles.
