Well, it's my 100th post and I'm lucky to have a few nice shots worthy of the occasion.

I was at a local garden this weekend and there was too much to see. Hummingbirds flying about, Bees, Butterflies - you name it! At one point I had a Hummingbird to my right, and a Butterfly and Hummingbird Moth to my left.

Here are a few...

Great shots! Do hummingbird moths land to feed, or do they hover as well?

Thanks.

I normally see them hover. That one did land and crawl up inside the flower (like a bee does). I have only seen them a few times. I was lucky to be at my uncle's house one weekend where he had 2 or 3 hanging out for quite a while.

They look like flying crawfish :)

Great shots! The moths do look like flying crawfish! I typically see them hovering to feed too.

wow, you captured one of the moths.
I had one in garden a couple of days ago, but no camera.

Somehow no hummers like my garden, that's disappointing. Planted a lot of flowers that normally attracts them, also have some feeders, but they are not coming.
Any ideas?
Maybe they just don't know that all these nice flowers are waiting for them in my garden...
