For anyone that has not been here, if you go when the water flow is low you will want to walk the whole trail... I did not know about the top falls so I did not go off the trail. That would have been nice to see. The buttermilk like falls was not flowing at all (late August 2012).

This was my first time there, but it was still worth seeing. I would like to get back sometime when there is more water. The good thing about low flows is that you get to appreciate the rock formations.
By the way Matt, great site and thank you for providing all of this great information. You NY residents are lucky having all of these great waterfalls! What would you say is your favorite place that you have visited?

Took a trip there today to cool off. Always amazing how the top park of the park is always deserted

Great one, Matt! I was in your neighborhood today. You certainly are in the heart of it all!

Matt and I seem to be hitting up the same areas this year. I have trekked out there 3 times in June... falling the first time and two times not making it far before weather screwed me. I never made it to the last falls (this is it, right?) is the trail tot he last falls rebuilt?

Champy nice pic! The really attractive person in the middle of falls though, completely disctracts from the composition of the falls.
