No, an actual painting. Not a Photoshop filter. :wink:

Also, it wasn't that scene. It was the falls that is the main part of the creek, the trail goes behind it from left to right as you go upstream. Then you go up a spiral staircase type thing to the next level.

photoshop can be, but you cant just use the filter. there is an actuall technique to it. i have seen it done, just havent wanted to put the time into it yet.

that's a whole technique. You can see brush strokes, canvas and it even limits the paint pallete based on defined colors.it's the best I have seen photoshop too. I guess it's maybe too mutch detail.

I think that in this case that person actually painted over the photo. Photoshop or paint, that's really painting.
