I spent my long weekend camping in Letchworth SP, Stony Brook SP and Allegany SP.
The rain was a bummer, but at least it will help to fill up the creeks again.
Was a bit on the chilly side in my tent, but I liked it.
Allegany SP
Stony Brook
Letchworth SP
now I have to browse through a lot of pics, so I can post a few in the future

Yeah, Yvonne. Exactly what Kyle said.
The Letchworth one is stunning.
Having been gone most of September, I was glad to come back home and see that I hadn't missed the fall colors.....things were pretty much still green and then seemingly overnight things exploded with color! I always enjoy hearing and seeing where your adventures take you! I've not done much camping in my life, so one of the (numerous) reasons I admire you is your "pure outdoorsiness", if that's even a word!!

I am strong, because I've been weak.
I am fearless, because I've been afraid.
I am wise, because I've been foolish.

thanks Kyle and Kelly
I spontaneously planned this foliage trip and it seems it will be my one and only chance this year to get out and see the fall colors. Too many commitments with college, sometimes I'm really restless and would love to go. But on the other hand I need to pass my exams.... tough decisions...
But anyway, this past weekend not even rain and near freezing temps could hold me back and I enjoyed my little camping adventure as much as the summer trips to Utah.
And Kelly, the colors right now in Allegany and Letchworth are just breathtaking. There will be a lot more next weekend, especially in Letchworth.

Yes, that Letchworth shot is gorgeous. Speaking of gorges, Jeanette and I visited Ithaca for one yesterday and I ran around trying to see and photograph the highlights. The sun was very bright and pics were a challenge to get.
On a side note we ate at Taste of Thai and it was amazing. Ithaca bakery was good too.
