Great you were able to get there in the fall. I usually trek that way every year around this time, but have been swamped with work this year. Thanks for posting the colorful scenes.

We had a lot of fun and seeing as how close Ithaca is, I can't believe it has taken me this long to get there.
That's one of the cool things about a group like this is that you can see images that inspire you enough to want to go out and seek new places for yourself.

Those fall photos from Ithaca are awesome!! Make me homesick :-) I spent a lot of time in those parks when I was back in school.

I'm not sure how the weather stations figure out "peak." To me, the best time is when the large maples turn red.
Slap on a polarizer and you can exaggerate the colors to make them pop.

I guess one of these days I'll buy a polarizer.
The second shot is great as well.
Too sad I missed most of the foliage this year due to the lack of time
