I go here every now and again. Thai is not at the top of my Asian cuisine list, but for Thai, they do it well here. What I like the best is the attentive and friendly service. I'm a bit down on my old standby Chinese place lately, mostly because the staff is emotionless and just couldn't care less about being friendly, polite or prompt. I don't care how much I love their food. Treat me like you care I'm there, or it's adios. King & I gets high marks here.

Tonight, we were greeted enthusiastically and treated with kindness, humor and respect. Very good food - and fantastic service. It's often full, so there's pretty good people watching too.

Meal not as spicy as you'd like it? No problem. Just dip into one of the three pepper sauces you'll find on your table. Good stuff.

One gripe. And it's not specific to this place......but what's with lemongrass? That stuff is awful. Who likes it?

I can do lemongrass in small doses. Like soup. I don't think i could take it as part of a dish.
