I'm thinking of putting together a large "canvas" art made out of legos. I haven't decided on what of though. A few years back I made a photoshop action that would take a photo and parse it as lego blocks. I could then use the image as a template for building a real life version. Here's one I came up with:

It's definitely the "minimalist" approach.
I like the "sorry, we just started a new keg" one.

Cool stuff, I sure didn't have Lego bricks like that when I was a kid, mostly all you could buy were 2x2 and 2x4 bricks, with some 1x8 now and then....
