Wegmans called me again.
And the latest tainted item I've consumed? My favorite Lean Cuisine meal.....if I've purchased it after Dec 14 - may have shards of glass in it. I've probably eaten half a dozen since then, but had one left to return today. And I made a dollar on the deal.

The lesson in all of this probably is to stop at the service desk the next time you're at Wegmans, and make sure they have your current phone number. I'm convinced I would have been hospitalized or worse from that lettuce mix if I had not gotten the call. And glass? Well, why take a chance?! Make sure they have your number! That's my PSA for the week.

This has angered me since the Nat Geo expose in the 90s. japanese fisherman, sticking to an old belief that migrating dolphins eat all the fish they could be catching (no scientific evidence at all to support this) lure hundreds of dolphins into coves and slaughter them. Recent years they have been serving the meat in schools, not disclosing it is dolphin meat. This is a yearly event.

Recent spy video has showed in an effort to conceal what they are doing, the Fisherman of Taiji have gone from slaughter to outright torturing cruelty.
Very disturbing video, but story has to be told. Don't watch unless you want to get pissed and donate to WDC.
From an espionage standpoint.. what they had to do to get the video.. I'm very curious to know.

"The Cove" was about how they planted secret cameras to get the shots before they started using this new technique. It was a really cool movie, but very disturbing.

That hockey is even legal here in the States!

...actually that these are highest paid PUBLIC employees. That's just sad.
