Cool Matt. I think that same guy was visiting my mom's garden last month -- I got a few photos like yours (minus the awesome straw).

I got hit by a nasty cold and wasn't able to get out on my daily walk/bug hunt. Hoping to get out this weekend. I figure the cold weather is going to slow down some of those faster bugs. If I can find a healthy creek nearby I want to try to find some beetle larvae.

Nice little stinker.
Next week I have to make a trip to Singapore to renew my Visa. I see they have a very nice botanic garden. I'm hoping to have time to go there with my camera!!

Matt, the last spider photo is gorgeous. Fantastic composition and execution. Showed it here to my employees who have been watching this month's Bug-Off closely!!
