Wanted to add a couple shots of Lower Falls in Rochester @ Maplewood park area ... one has similar perspective to one that Rose had taken, Hard to believe such views can be found in the heart of a urban / city area !!!

It's a wonderful falls in high flow and in low flow has much character. I have seen photos of people fish from below. I wonder how to get down there.

I haven't been down there on the Maplewood section, I intended too one day however had gotten distracted by the photos I posted above. (it happens often).. anyways although it says no gorge access... if you walk down the stairs and then into the woods heading north along the gorge bank you will ultimately come across a path that people have made going down there... the rivers banks are well traveled from what I've seen on the east side of the river.. and I also have seen many people down there on the west side. Anyways this is what I am told by others who have been down there.
