Florida visitor's dragonflies

While visiting NY this summer (Syracuse area) I managed to shoot a few dragonflies:

Very nice photos Diane! You weren't by any chance in the area for the Grapehound Wine Tour? I noticed that you have Greyhounds.

Thanks. Shooting odes takes lots of patience, but the payoff is big!

No, I wasn't in town for the Grapehound Tour (sounds like fun, but my greyhounds are all gone; most don't live long after a racing career.)

I'm sorry to hear that. It is a good time, and the event is growing in popularity each year. It supports a very worthwhile cause.
