I haven't seen a post about these falls, so...
I always loved this set of falls. Actually, I don't care for the tallest of the falls (bearing the name), but the two smaller falls...

I have to agree with you on these falls. The smaller downstream ones look like somethiing out of Watkins Glen. The upper large one isn't very photogenic (although you got a great shot!) and during low water it tends to spread (fan) the water out so it looks like there's less water than there actually is.

Nice pictures and I too agree on your judgment. Where are the falls located?

what is the land status, by the way - of the entire glen? park/private/unknown?
As far as I know the trail is open to the public. I've never seen any posted signs and I understand that the tall falls is used during the winter by ice climbers.
Where?
It's just off 414 heading out of WG. It's been a while, but I used to look for minor stream gully to the right between where 414 turns north and 79 veers off to the right.
If you head down into the glen you'll see the first water fall (mostly green photo). To get to the other two there's a trail to the right of the gully at the road.
A rope may be useful to get to some of the drops between the first and the tallest!
Enjoy!

The Finger Lakes Trail runs right through there too so it's definitely legal to enter.
