If you ever get to go to the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon - make sure to check out Multanomah Falls
And lower and upper punchbowl by the Eagle Creek trails:
I took pictures of upper punchbowl - which is arguably one of the most popular falls in the area - but not only is a tree in the way now, but the light was filtering through and ruined the exposure in the gorge...no doubt you've seen pictures of it before:

I want to see Multanomah Falls.
I hit up California last year and went to Yosemite and Big Basin.
Yosemite's falls are grand, but lack the character found in our shale/limestone falls here in the North East.
Big Basin State Park in CA has a falls similar to Punchbow Falls.

...we stopped there on our honeymoon in September '04.
We had breakfast at the restaurant/lodge at the falls. I had huckleberry pancakes and the most delicious coffee I've ever tasted.
