Fantastic shot! I'd lose the stick too but doing what you want with your work is what's most important.

Only mho, but I think the stick is distracting and doesn't add anything to the photo.

I like to tinker with images and remove stuff like that, so I would junk the stick... also I would crop a bit of the sky. I don't know if that is a good thing or not. I'm never satisfied with panos and you did an awesome job either way.
