January...
Fieldstones and cobblestones.
A bit drafty for my tastes.

This door / window looked a lot better with the missus in it!

I never noticed that crumbling cobblestone home out there. Interesting (and a bit creepy)

Those fieldstones and cobblestones are great shots...I'll have to look for those buildings...we're out that way every weekend in the summer.
I love doors and windows...will be keeping a look out for some this month.

I'll look for some of the "normal" ones before the month is over...
but ...
just because I like this one I took today...
How about "windows to the soul" ?
(cat's do have souls, don't they?)

This door and these windows are my favourite ones in the whole world...
they are on our little beach shack on Sodus Bay/Lake Ontario, where we spend every summer weekend.
We just built this last year...and can't wait to enjoy it again this summer.
The photo was taken a couple of weeks ago.
It may be small but it isn't boring.

I love your beach shack! We had friends who had one on Cayuga Lake for years until the property taxes became too much to handle. :( Seeing yours brings back some wonderful memories.

Champy, that pic is so awesome. I wish the structure was lit up a little more but it is an amazing pic. There is this humble little dwelling made even more humble by the enormity of space, which you so perfectly captured. Really great stuff.
So, how the heck did you do it?
