Here's some flower sans the shower, though there was a 60% chance of rain at the time.

I thought these buds were in the spirit of the topic.
Also, I thought they looked like wasp noggins.
Thanks for this monthly challenge. It encouraged me to dust of the macro and learn how to use it a little better.
I had found that the aperture mode was pretty useless with this lens as it would shoot everything with too fast a shutter speed rendering all of the photos dark. Shutter priority wasn't cutting it either so I went full manual mode and got pretty good with it.

Some nice entries in this challenge already...and there haven't been too many April showers yet.

Finally got a little rain this afternoon...so I thought I better take my camera out to my backyard and find a few shots to enter this month.
Rainy days are always good for taking pictures...if you can keep your camera dry. I was balancing an umbrella on my head while shooting and hoping the neighbours weren't watching. :)

Marvelous moisture, Mikell. Lupine leaves and water drops were made for each other!

I was thinking the same thing...those Lupines just attract the rain drops...so pretty.

I love to see kids getting into photography...it will be a lifelong activity...once you start seeing the world as photo ops!
Very nice ladybug picture, Jordan. :)

I forgot how many different kinds of Daffodils I planted last fall...they are bursting into blooming colour this week...and the rain makes the perfect time to take pictures of them.
Here are a few more.

great color and detail. No flowers around me, I'm going to have to find the time to seek some out. Anyone check out highland park recently?

No flowers around you? Not even dandelions? ground cover/weeds? tree blossoms?
Flowers are everywhere right now!

I think you need to plant some bulbs next fall...they are the best thing about Spring. ;)

I have only been able to enjoy my commute from and to work each day. I will be on the lookout for flowers while on the community hike Sunday, then will trample them before anyone else in the group has a chance to better me. ;)
