Although their pricing and customer service was atrocious, the thing i will remember most, and pretty much summarizes the kind of company they are... for a 6 month period for which i used their autopay feature, they paid their own bills late, I spent maybe 6-8 hours of my own time trying to get it right over the phone, eventually turned off autopay and paid by check. They NEVER took back the late fees; continued to subtract the autopay amount from my account after i cancelled it (theft) and then charged me a "deactivation" fee when i turned off my service. They can rot in hell. I hope they go under (and they will). In the age of cell phones they are obsolete, and they have yet to appreciate the few customers that haven't left. F-- them.
Ohh.... and when i switched, they told me I couldn't take my number, which was a complete lie, and an illegal one at that.
On the other hand... I was happy with time warner service, yet dropped cable and I can't complain.
Thirdly, I was happy with Verizon service when i used them for cell phone service. I never had a dropped call. I think cell phone companies have caught on that if people don't get decent pricing and service, they can switch so easily.
I really wish Verizon would bring the fiber optics to Rochester. We would have some nice competition as far as internet and TV if they did.
