a.k.a. Castle on the Hill, Wellness Hotel, This was a place with great history for healing folks that were thought terminally ill at the time.
No longer safe to visit, this hulking beauty was one of my first UrbEx photography trips back in 2009. Such a fabulous building and it is slowly crumbling to dust. Hope you enjoy my photos from there, please check me out on Facebook, Flickr, Twitter at the links below the photos. Prints are available..please ask.

Yes we are VERY interested. Grossingers would a great add! Feel free to post your explorations here at any time.
When was the last time you visited Jackson? Any info that would be of use to someone who is interested in visiting?

I was there in 2009 and have been keeping track of its status ever since. I have considered a return, but have been getting reports that the property is being watched and getting in is more difficult these days. Pile that up with the recent collapse and the fact it was pretty dangerous to begin with and I am 50/50 on a return based on reward. This of course is swayed because I have already been there. For someone who has not, it may be worth the risk. I would still not recommend it....publicly.

This is fantastic. I love the light painting... excellent use of that technique... I'm, just as fascinated by outside shots as i am by inside... so if accessible, yet still dangerous, I would love to see more of the outside.
How did you land that aerial shot?

Aerial shot was a patched together pano using BING maps. We use it to plan entrance. Seriously, we act like guerrilla photographers when we do this stuff...lol Matt, or Hobkyl, email me... maybe we can set something up.
