Split Rock is located on route 9, 2.3 miles from the junction with route 73, (towards Elizabethtown). You can’t miss it as you approach the corner you’ll see signs stating “No parking on the pavement”, as you round the corner you’ll see a pull-off that should fit 5 plus cars if parked right. If the water is low or you don’t mind getting wet theirs an island that should give you a grand view up the middle. If not the lookout closer to the falls isn’t bad but the right split is half hidden. If you park and walk across the bridge you can get to the bottom left of the falls for some shots of the lower three and the top left, again you could reach the island by wading.

Beautiful shots Jim!
“There’s an inconsequentiality to our lives that living in the wilderness shows up. Mountain are real, they set their limits, they set ours. They expose us, make us vulnerable and strong at the same time. “

Nice shots, I'll probably will swing by there this weekend, planning on doing the upper gorge on the Bouquet, unless there's too much water.

We ended up not getting there, Saturday it was rainy in that area so we went to Lake Champlain and hiked to Barn Rock. Sunday we went back to hike up to the upper gorge and get some shots there of the upper falls in the gorge. My friend hurt his back hopping rocks though, so we cut that trip a bit shorter than I wanted to, but I did get some shots that I haven't even looked at yet. We never did make it to Split Rock though. Next trip.
