This month's challenge: Signs of Spring

The only other rules... it has to be taken in upstate NY and it has to be taken by you!

This month's winner will get a brand new, 7-LED headlamp. I guess it's something you wear on your head. Like miners do. I guess that could be useful for hiking at night too. No batteries with this one, sorry.

I had a great shot the other day....
With all the snow melting, one of the drains in the parking lot was sucking in a torrent of water and it created almost a whirlpool effect. I was thinking a long exposure would make for a great photo! But I didn't have my camera!

Slow progress. I will have sometime this weekend to work with it more. I am going to order the book you told me about to help me out. I am not caring for the tutorial mode. I just wish I had someone to learn with

I'm trying to learn it too... slowly but surely... I'm reading through photoshop CS3 for dummies, its pretty good!
