Pet Pics

Postby Brenda » Sat Jan 12, 2008 12:08 pm

I thought that I'd start a thread for folks to post photos of and talk about their pets. They don't have to be your best shots, and they can be of any pet. I'm looking forward to seeing Shana's new additions! I'll get a few on here shortly myself.

Great pics. I can tell that Precious is just that, and I bet that she'll be the first to tell you too! The most cats I've ever had at one time is 4, but we had 3 (girls) for years. The funny thing is that, for the most part, they never really liked each other much and even when they were old and decrepit they'd still spit and swat at each other if they had to walk through a doorway at the same time.

That last photo sure looks familiar, but our unruly yellow girl never manages to find water that clean! Actually, she never finds anything clean! Just this morning, she decided that she wanted to smell like coyote poo.

Yeah Precious would be the first one to tell you she is ... lol. She is our resue baby. We adopted her from cortland co spca. She is Ray's girl by far :) .

The girls get along pretty good for the most part, unless Kara is in witch mode. Precious and Angelo are close, but Kara cannot stand Angelo ... lol. I think it is more of a jealousy thing though because she old swats at him when he is cuddling with me

That is the cutest picture Matt. Cats do some funny, yet cute things all the time.

Is that one of the toys that makes the "real" sounds? Lucas is so cute! Is he a 13"? Do you hunt with him?

He is a 13", have not taken him out, would really like to see how he would do with rabbits. Have a fear of him running and never coming back...loves his freedom cause he doesn't get much of it. My parents beagles used to hunt and they were great at it, not sure about this one though...he is 3 years old.
The pheasant makes sounds like a duck...so not really realistic. The toy was made by AKC.

I've never met a beagle who doesn't love their freedom! When I worked over at the King Ferry Coop, we had a number of hunters who used beagles and several of the guys would end up just leaving their jackets on the ground next to where they parked and come back for the dogs the next morning. The dogs would eventually work their way back to their owner's scent. I would be worried sick. I'd love to have one (there isn't a cuter puppy, hands down), but I'd be afraid that we'd lose him for days out here! Well, we'd lose sight of him but I bet that we'd still hear him!
