I took this photo in 2005, at daybreak before sunlight flooded the gorge. I'd like some critique if possible.

Great shot... Is this from when you camped there? I don't see anything wrong with it... perhaps a tighter crop. Focus more on the curves if you can.

Watkins Glen is... otherworldly!
We try to get there at least twice a year. The last time we were there, there was a girl doing an oil painting of the falls you can walk behind. She was doing a great job at it.
I've always wondered what it was like for the first people ever to discover that place. I mean, there would be no way to get into the glen without those tunnels they've blasted through the rock. And you can't REALLY see what's down there from the gorge rim. 200 years ago did someone lower themselves on a rope to check things out? Actually, knowing myself, I probably would have done something like that.

Here are some signs from the park (enhanced for legibility)
I'll post more when I get the chance.

Watkins is one of the prettiest gorges. Lots of waterfalls and all very unique. It's good to get an early start there. During "tourist season" it gets very busy and that's probably the part I like least. Last time I went it was raining hard and it was still crazy. Speaking of crazy, I always have to chuckle when I see the people who have just hopped off the tour bus and they are wearing their pretty little outfits and heeled dress shoes...
