Discovered this abandoned cobblestone school house in Orleans County. It was, for the most part, boarded up - but just before leaving I made my way through an overgrown area and saw that an entire window was open and ready for me to poke my head into.

There are lots of fun details that can be seen when zooming in. Not sure if this resolution will allow.....
Judging by the desk and chair, its last use may have been late 40s. Other cobblestone schoolhouses in the immediate area were used as late as the 1950s.
