Map Link for mystery building - near Millbrook, NY

Does anyone know what this once was? Mysterious....and now looking at the satellite view, I guess this must be the back of the property and the front could have been accessed from a side road. We were traveling on Rt. 343 and just happened to spot it way up on the hill.

What you could do with these in Photoshop. Thundering skies and high contrast.

Have no idea what this bldg is, but it is cool. With the detail, bay windows, overhangs, and massive stone work, it just looks like a resort of some kind. Right near where my son goes to college. What were you doing there?

Excellent photos, Kelly.
That is the Bennet School for Girls, and it is an architectural gem.
Constructed in 1890, and modeled after Old English educational institutions.

Yes, that's EXACTLY my style, David! ;)

Why was I there? On a side trip from visiting our son at college (Vassar in Poughkeepsie) - and looking for historic markers for New York Historic.
Do I remember correctly that your son is at West Point?

OK, so now I want to go inside. Who's in? I'm going back as soon as I'm able. What an incredible place it was/is.
