Not a good pic of the bluffs themself, however it is looking east at sunrise and that smoke stack (lochness) would be the steam coming off of Nine Mile power plant in Oswego.

Funny, I guess because I don't usually see the bluffs from that side, despite having a family cottage there, I don't recall ever seeing the steam before.

I usually take sunset shot at the Bluffs, but sunrise looks tempting as well.
Unfortunately I'm out of town that weekend, otherwise I would've joined you.
Maybe I'm heading to the Bluffs this fall, are there any camping opportunities nearby?

Yvonne...Fair Haven State Park is close to the bluffs.
