A little known lake in Washington County. It is a 659 acre lake with a DEC boat launch. It is nestled in the foot hills of the Green Mountains of Vermont but in New York. The lake is mostly developed except for the shallow south end and a privately owned, over 4 acre Island, in the north end of the lake.

The following shot I took in an early morning fog without any filters. The camera registered the fog as blue. I like the look and kept it

Your welcome! Washington Co is quite a beautiful area, mostly agricultural and rural dotted with quaint towns. There are 55 bodies of water classified as lakes but most are named ponds. Cossayuna Lake is the largest in the County.
