apparently that is gaining a lot of traction. The press has picked it up and ran with it.
Of course... it will never happen for municipalities, especially in NY. And the reason for that is budget. The governments here barely have money set aside for repairing pavement in the spring. They would never upfront invest in a sturdier, productive road, even if if meant ROI in the long run. How do I know? Because long-lasting, crack-proof, ice-proof pavement exists, and it's not much more expensive than the asphalt we use now. We use it on modern bridges actually. Do we pave roadways with it? No... because it would A: kill a yearly budget. B: Contractor companies wouldn't support it because it would mean less work for them in the long term.
I expect these to be used on parking lots for "green" companies with a lot of money to throw around and something to prove. But never public roadways.

New Edible Wafer Cupcake Cases
Dr. Oetker Edible Wafer Cases are pink and blue wafer baking cases which you can eat. There is no need to remove the case, you can now eat the whole cupcake with no waste or mess! Use instead of paper baking cases when baking cupcakes for an extra special addition to your baking.
Edible Wafer Cases are bake stable, and do not need to be baked in a cupcake tray- they can be baked on a flat baking tray.
