Nice shot of the most photographed barn in the Adirondacks. I actually took some over the weekend myself, but haven't gotten around to processing them yet. There was a article about that barn in a recent issue of Adirondack Life magazine. Seems there is a movement to preserve it somehow.

I can believe that. It is a very picturesque barn and scene and quite accessible (for all that do not know, it is off of 73 between Lake Placid and 87).

I am looking forward to seeing your pics.

Well, it's only so-so, had to crop it down to a pseudo-panoramic and boost the drama on the clouds, but there it is.

It is always good to see another shot of the same picture. Yours shows the dilapidated barn much better. I think I was more fortunate with the lighting since It was sunny but with fluffy clouds that add nice highlights and shadows.

I'm a sucker for a good barn picture, and I love them both!

Thanks. I'm thinking it would be nice to get out there to get a closer shot, as most of the pics you see are from the turnout along the road. It was a bit too wet that day for me to wade out in all those tall weeds.

Yeah, I would have like to walk around and try some different shots too, but we were on our way home and it was a quick stop. Probably like most tourists :)
