Have you been? What are your thoughts?

Went and wasn't very impressed. But then, I'm probably not in their target market. Certainly not worth a special trip by car.

They seem to have more space than they can fill. Perhaps that will change if/when they mature. Produce was very so-so. For all the hoopla about local growers, there wasn't much. (Yes, there is still plenty to be had from local farmers! Are they trying?) I did get some amazing and reasonably priced locally grown shiitake mushrooms. That was my big score.

There is a bakery and a deli which at a glance seemed ok. How do you keep repeating how you feature local stuff (yes, there is some - but it doesn't dominate) and offer me pumpkin seeds grown in China?! Pisses me off.

Parking is more than ample - and I got a 10 cent credit for bringing my own bag. Woo.

Maybe it's handy for Eastman students without a car. . .

What makes it special is that the inner city is anemic when it comes to grocers. So it's good to have one open up.
Other than that, I wouldn't consider it anything out of the ordinary, even by hipster standards.
