Tonight - 7pm @ Ontario Beach Park:
Michael Butterman conducts a free concert on the lakeshore for a lovely summer evening of music. You’ll hear dance music from Norway, Finland, Hungary, and Czechoslovakia, as well as selections from Broadway hits like West Side Story and other popular music.

I'll be there. Find me - win a dollar.

Didn't see anyone I knew. Gave out zero dollars in prize money, but what a beautiful night to listen to beautiful music. Tried a few ideas for the 1 second photo challenge and had no luck. C'est la vie.

Kelly, How many people showed up? I always have wondered how successful these free concerts are.

I'm not real good at estimating, but a conservative guess might be 2000+.

Anytime I've seen the RPO play for free, it's packed! (single tickets for their performances can top $60 for regular season concerts, and even in the summer at CMAC.) They really are a world class orchestra and we're fortunate that the sponsorship is there to make their music accessible to all!

Thanks for that link! Ontario Beach Park is really the perfect venue for these concerts - even if all you care to do is people watch or hone your photographic skills with background music.
