Rochester water rated among top 5 in U.S.
The city's water was among five finalists in the U.S. Conference of Mayors Best Tasting City Water in America contest.

The conference conducted a blind taste test of 73 municipal water supplies in conjunction with its 79th annual meeting, which concluded Monday in Baltimore.

To celebrate, City Water Bureau staff will dispense cups of iced water today at State and West Main streets, near the Powers Building, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

speaking of water, I filter mine... with a Culligan filter on the tap. I used to use Brita, but the filters are ridiculous.
the Culligan filter is downright amazing. The taste difference it startling.
