Anyone going to check it out?

I like to hit it up for a snack or two after work... not a great time to photograph... though I may want to get out there just before to capture some decent lilac shots.

I love Highland Park. I've been half a dozen times already this spring - but I usually avoid the festival because of parking. Where do you park when you stop at that time of day?

May not be a great time for some photos, but you can get some great shots of people with their noses pressed against the blooms, or pigging out on the food. ;)

: ( Im going to miss it this year. Parking on the street usually works pretty good. Last year we parked at the garage at Strong and walked...wasnt too far of a walk.

I've found parking at the Colgate Divinity School on Goodman works pretty well. It's a bit of a walk to the booths, but close to the lilacs.

It begins today... unfortunately so does the rain.

If anyone goes, post photos!

I never made it out there. It rained all the days I wanted to go, then on the weekend, I just figured it would be too crowded.
